There’s just too many ways that I have to use to keep track of and with friends. Here’s an incomplete list of all the places I must either surf or post to keep track of friends from through the years. Of course, now that Dave suggested I try Google Reader, some of these complaints aren’t valid since it aggregates from many of these places.
- Facebook - Like many social networking sites, folks can easily become addicted to facebook. Constantly updating their profiles, poking, writing wall messages. I just can’t get into it. But I do try to login once and a while since there are folks who I keep track of that only update the rest of the world with what’s going on in their life via their facebook page.
- Flickr - Primary Dave on this one. And John now that his primary blog is linguistically inaccessible to me. (Update: I can follow John’s life in four new languages now! How’s that for a nice New Year’s present)
- Various Blogs
- AIM - Especially now that I’m actually on AIM normally and responding like a real person instead of using it with such infrequency that it might as well be email.
- Email - The old mainstay and still a good way to get in touch with lots of folks.
Myspace- Thankfully none of the people I care about use this as their predominant form of information sharing.
Sweet! I called it.

The play I was auditioning for just got cancelled, and I think I can give the unused props to you for seeing the social networking “fatigue”.
Don’t forget Orkut. I just got a cleverly crafted spam harvested from that site. I think you convinced me to join early 2006. By the way, wh… oh haha, mudding! It was listed as one of your passions. I didn’t know you were into 4wd trucks. But no, there’s a true Jordan nerd meaning.
