So much of human interaction is based on context. If for example I told you that today my wife asked me if I was sleeping with my boss, you might wonder about the context. Did she find a note among my office things? Smell perfume? Find a wrong colored hair?
In this case, the apropriate context is the discussion just prior to that statement where Jaime and I discussed my shaved head (#2 gaurd) and I (trying to garner support for my argument I need matching facial hair) reported that my boss told me a goatee would match the haircut. Jaime’s response you already know.
My response, “not in a few weeks” also should be taken in context. The context that I’m a smart alec and the first statement was facetious.
Oh well, no goatee for Jordan. It’s probably for the better as I doubt I could grow a real one anyway.
(side note: Postie, the plugin that does a better job importing from email uses lines breaks instead of paragraphs on email text. Maybe two line breaks would do it?)
I glanced at the title and read “Context and a goatse”. Couldn’t for the life of me understand why you’d want to write about that.
