I tell you, it puts you in a good mood when you feel in demand. I got two requests today to speak. One by a company that puts on mega security conferences, and the other by a professor on campus I had previously expressed an interest to about guest lecturing. He teaches a security class in the DIS program on campus, and was in fact demonstrating some security scanning tools when we detected him scanning a couple of years ago and thought he was compromised. Sure, I had to fish for the invite to the second one, but he still asked. Here’s hoping I do a good job and he invites me back next semester. If anything actually comes of the request to present for MIS, I’ll be sure to post so all my security groupies who read this can make sure to attend. (*HAH!*)
Guest lecturing is a lot of fun. Good luck with it…
