I recently decided I’m fairly immature. Of course, I’m plenty mature when I need to be (though my wife may not agree entirely with that), but for the most part I enjoy acting like a kid. In my mind, I’m just enjoying life, and never getting so stuck in my ways. Other’s may simply see it as irritating younger brother-syndrome and roll their eyes as if I’ll never grow up.

The best part about being immature though is that done right it’s extremely infectious. Lately my officemate and I started throwing a plastic lid from a yogurt container (same as a pringles lid) back and forth and somehow decided to turn it into a game. That resulted in a week’s worth of assassin tag that has escalated into the point where half the office is playing and we have very well defined rules. Of course, we were talking about going really overboard and doing a whole online-tracking of the game; kills, stats, misses, accuracy, etc. We’ll see. If the fad hangs on for a while, we may do that. And if none of the bosses in the office get too pissed and if people don’t get too distracted from work. Lots of ifs, but it’s a lot of fun, so I hope we can keep it up.

Oh yea thirst for blood; bring it, bring it.

In case it wasn’t obvious; Andrew’s in the game. We’re the co-designers.

Actually, this game is really cool. I just like to mess up things with changes. I think it might be fun for the killer to get only half a health point for every kill scored, and then have all dead players respawn every Friday that they wear their Hawai’ian shirt. Players that survived the entire week could keep all the health points they recieved during previous weeks to give survivorship an added bonus above and beyond the glory.

Another variant — adding a second or third weapon on certain days of the week.

Yeah, we’ve definitely considered some tweaks for variations, those are good ideas we’ll add to the list.

The game has a two day time-limit, so it really doesn’t go on all that long.
