Today is Wantingseed’s first birthday. I am, for one, pretty surprised that it’s still kicking, even if it is on life support (thanks to below average effort of one of the two principle contributors — that is, me), and even more surprised that it’s still sporting its original layout (or is it layout #2? I can’t remember. Regardless, it hasn’t changed for a long time and that’s something pretty amazing for me).
Here’s hoping that I get off my ass and start contributing more, and that Wantingseed’s second year is more than just a pale shadow of its first. And a huge thanks to Jordan for providing the bulk of the content over the last six months or so, and for Dave whose Matrix post really blew the doors off and turned our humble little collaborative log into a reasonably trafficked site.
Surprised that no one else has commented yet, so I’ll be first.
Happy Birthday and I hope that it continues to roll on for at least another year, even though I don’t know you guys it’s still nice to check by every so often and read about people’s lives :p

It’s nice to have you here too, Brett; seeing that we’ve extended our readership a bit (even if you’re the only one) beyond our ‘normal’ range of interactions, does give a bit of a warm and fuzzy.
In other news, cheers. Cheers to the past year, and the up coming one; may our posts be double the rate of the first half, and our negative and trolling comments half the rate of the second half.

It’s amazing how many people’s blogs I read through just clicking through from Slashdot sigs or whatever and thinking “Oh, they look interesting” Bookmark and then check every day or so.
I’m not addicted to soaps on TV, maybe this is my addiction. Reading the diaries of strangers.
