Wow. Only the first day and we’re very happy. We love it up here. Of course, that could just be because we’re together, relaxed, and doing whatever we feel like. Either way, it’s really nice.

Whoa, I am really out of the loop now. What are you two doing in Portland?
Also, I still need to get this DVD you let me borrow back to you sometime before I leave Gainesville May 1st. I’m wondering how I’ll go about doing that…
Ironically; every single day we’re here it’s been (and going to be, according to weather.com) blissfully sunny. In fact, it was TOO hot today. I was hoping for some cooler weather from florida’s temperatures. Ironically, it sounds like there’s been a lot of craptastic weather going down on the east coast lately. Muahaha. We took all the sunshine with us.
Of course, that presents a biased viewpoint. Though it is interesting that Orlando gets more inches of rain per year than Seattle and Portland both. If you measured total minutes of sunshine, I’m sure Orlando would win its way back, but still surprising.

The waterfall is super-cool, as is the giant slug. Please tell me you caught it and are planning to bring it home.

Portland does sound nice. Morgan keeps telling me about it (she has relatives there) as the perfect place. She wants to go to cooking school up there.

I don’t think I could stand the northwest’s weather. I need sun.

It’s so weird to think that we have pictures of me standing in the exact places you were. I totally recognize every one of those spots. Love you guys.
