Summary:
Breakfast at bagel place
Driving around a fun shopping area called nobb hill. Picked up some toys, and drove up the hill and saw some amazing houses with views over the city that were simply gorgeous.
Returned to the hotel
Dinner at Portland’s oldest restaurant
Did I mention that yesterday we spent like $80 at the most amazing book store I’ve ever seen?
Or, of course, just see for yourself.
Slightly bizarre when nearly every place has their own website, let alone domain name.
Just out of curiosity, why Portland? Opposite corner of the US?

No real reason, just heard it was a generally nice place and we’re trying to get lots of options. Be nice if we have lots of places we know we’d be happy to go. Opens up the possibilities as far as jobs go. Who knows, we really have no idea what’ll happen.

You should check out San Diego sometime…not necessarily as a possible place to live and work but just because it would be cool to see you again.

We’re talking about trying to do a layover in San Francisco before/after we go to China in February - maybe we could meet up with you then. I’m not really sure how far away San Diego is, but it might work.

Again, weird how I know all these places. I love the NW 23rd district, great shops, great views.

That could work, maybe I could even try to take a road trip around then and we can meet somewhere. Will have to keep that in mind. San Francisco is pretty far, but I personally want to go there sometime anyway.
