I’m really trying hard not to get dramatic. Not to get hysterical. I mean, really, it’s only a few days right now, and she’ll be coming home probably every weekend, but Jaime just left for the first of her 6 months worth of pharmacy school rotations that are out of town.
If I was the drinking type, I’d be seriously considering tossing back gratuitously large quantities of the nerve killing poison.
I’ve got a large todo-list of things that I should be doing just to keep myself busy. I’ve even accomplished some of them earlier this weekend. However, right now I have to first work up the motivation to distract myself like that.
Instead, a friend is gonna come over and we’re going to kill brain cells with the other mind-numbing poison–Gamecube. Oh yeah, and I have large quantities of sugar and other legal stimulants in various forms. I’m prepared, I think I can handle this.
Well, I am here with Jordan now, and I’m bored because Jaime has called, and well… they’re still talking. Such love birds these two…
Game Cube went reasonably well. We unlocked two more things in MK:DD. Then we ate popcorn and pizza… “bachelor food” as Jordan calls it.

I hate it when my girl is away for ages… I really find it hard to find things to do, I find that I just spend days surfing websites that I’ve already read, or just clicking around etc. and then if I get motivated to actually go out I usually forget where I’m going half way down the road.
But I guess I’d rather have someone to pine over after all the years of not

Brett: Glad to hear I’m not the only one; this past week has been nearly entirely wasted. It would have been put to better use if I did nothing but trace lines on the walls with my finger; it would have at least been dusting, which the house sorely needs.
