David suckered me into an old, bad, habit I thought I had broken. He told me he had found Tetris Attack after we had talked about it a while back and how it was similar to the flash game we’d been playing, and I told him my whole history with playing it for weeks of my life when we (being half the readers of this page, including some who were never official residents, but might as well have been) all lived in ARF. David’s girlfriend now lives there, so for old time’s sake during my lunch break today we got together for some D’OH! fun. It was eerie — while it was a girl’s room, and thus the colors were slightly off, it was very much the same room when we lived in it. Slightly cleaner, and the piggies are smaller, but striking, still.

So to complete it with some SNES and Tetris Attack was awesome. Suffice to say, I took an executive lunch break today.

Wow, I got some people at work playing TA on monday. Apparently they’re all completely addicted now…I look forward to annihilating some folks on Monday when I go back there.

Jordan beat me solidly in vs mode. It was 17-2 (Jordan) after 19 best out of three matches. I didn’t think of it at the time, but I probably should have just moved down to level nine to keep it interesting.

Though the overall score doesn’t indicate how many of those best of three games went to three, so it’s not quite accurate. But yeah, a spot of a handicap would have been more enjoyable for both of us.
