It’s pretty sad when I can recognize the employees of both Ross and TJ Max because we’ve been there so much lately. What’s worse is when I recognize other SHOPPERS who’ve been there a lot lately.
I recently discovered that I don’t have very many friends. That is, the circle of friends I’ve had in Gainesville has slowly been eroding over time to the point where I really don’t have very many people I regularly hang out with in Gainesville. Kind of sobering, and would be mildly depressing, but at least I’m easily amused with books, games, and my wife, so probably don’t notice as much as I might. One upside is that it’ll make leaving a lot easier than it might have otherwise been whenever Jaime’s done with school.
Every day I’m astounded by new lows in driving in gainesville.
If anyone’s interested, and wouldn’t mind donating some computing time to a project I’m working on, check out a post where I explain how you can contribute. Basically, there’s a way to crack windows passwords very quickly by precomputing the hashes and storing them efficiently. I’m working on generating a really large database of all possible hashes using a pretty complete character set, but it’ll take a little bit of computing time to do it.
I think that if you live anywhere long enough everyone leaves. That’s the bad side of the mobile American lifestyle, I suppose.

I think that your project is a bit over my head for now.
Friendships do come and go, but you can cultivate them too. Makes me think of flowers. Have you ever tried gardening?
If your interested, I’m having the Ropella bros. over for pasta and a viewing of Matrix: Reloaded tomorrow night at 7:30. Also, our LG is going to be paintballing at the end of the month and anyone who likes being shot by these things is welcome to come. Just give me a call.
