We nearly went a week without a post. Guess we’ve both been out of the loop. Our of this particular loop, though there are plenty of other worthwhile and meaningful ones.
In the meantime, Jaime and I visited the Friends of the Library booksale that goes on twice a year here in town. It’s a blast. Unfortunately, we didn’t go until Monday and it started over the weekend, so it was already pretty picked over. We found a few books, a Refreshments’ cd, and a copy of the truth about charlie sound track. We ended up getting the truth about charlie for (after we left and calculated it out) about 25 cents, I think because the poor old ladies running the cash register (there were three of them to handle us; one to count our books and total, another to punch the total into the machine to print a receipt, and the third to handle the cash [6.50]) couldn’t count.
This is definitely a purchase beyond my normal listening interests, but I was so excited by the new sounds and mostly good tracks that I thought I’d offer the whole cd up for previewing here. To prevent random bots and whatnot, the directory is password protected, but you just have to use the username of dmca and the password of “me can bite” except you re-arrange the sentence into an order that makes sense and remove the spaces.
Which Refreshments CD? I have ‘Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy’ and it is literally one of my favorite albums ever (and now I’m going to have to dig through my CD collection and play it when I get back to the apartment…).

Sorry; blew the link for the refreshments; it was supposed to go to the amazon page as it does now. Yup, Fizzy Fuzzy, Big and Buzzy.
I remember hearing it when you had it, I was very glad to have found it.
