Google has been inaccessible since sometime on Sunday here, and apparently the problem is widespread. It resolves but it cannot connect. Apparently Hotmail users are also having problems accessing their accounts from the mainland, though I’m not a user and it’s not affecting me.
As I was typing this entry I actually tried to go to Google News to find a link to a report of this in a major newspaper. It’s sad that I’ve become so addicted to the tools, but seriously, I am… if this going on much longer it’s going to have a serious negative effect on my web surfing happiness.
Update: Ah! It’s back! Perhaps it was simply a technical problem (when all of a nation’s traffic flows through a couple of censoring chokepoints simple misconfiguration could do some serious damage).
You’re definitely overdue for the you know what through the you know what in the you know place to allow you to do you know what through the you know what.
