I met Jared today. Yes, that Jared. Not much to say. Lin and I were eating lunch at the Reitz when suddenly exclaimed, “that’s Jared!”. I was halfway through asking which Jared when I saw him and ended with just “oh”. Kinda fun. Kinda anticlimactic. Maybe I’ll upload the signed autograph and it will seem more exciting. Probably not.

In other news, I bought a fanta soda to go with my three tacos for lunch. It was a strawberry fanta soda and it was very, very tasty.

I love Subways. Thankfully I have a friend that works at one, so it’s that little bit cheaper :)

The strawberry Fanta kicks ass, but Jared is pretty damn useless. Does he like tour the country and show up in random Subways?

And, oh yeah, the “signed autograph”? Is that opposed to the pantomimed autograph?

He must. In fact, it looked like he had a whole entourage of subway PR people (apparently there to keep him from over eating).

Apparently the subway in our student union is one of the most profitable subways there are. Which isn’t hard to believe if you’ve ever actually tried to purchase something from them. The lines are constantly massive. If you catch it at the wrong time, there can literally be 100 people in front of you in line.

I always end up eating at the Wendys in the Reitz because I’ve given up waiting for Subway.

Maybe it’s a good thing that Subway hasn’t took off over like McDonald’s and BK. :)
It’s usually just a handful of people in the queue.

I never go to Subway because they don’t put effort into their food — only into the franchise. The bread is not true sub (hoagie) bread — it’s soft! It stinks when I walk past a Subway. The meat is cut thick. There are much better places to eat!! I can only understand people going there if in their area there is no true alternative (within 50 miles!!!).

no one eats subway anymore because theres something wrong with the bread.
I dont think subways diet really works i bet they just gave jared lipo.

I just have one thing to comment on, SUBWAY SUCKS, they have no customer service, I use to work there, the manager jason in town center in texas tells everyone he works with he hates customers, the mayo they put on your sandwitches is not low fat, it is regular mayo, subway gets real mayo now as well as light mayo, and they put it in the tuna and seafood, and my wife got demoted for taking my son to the hospital to regular based pay, and the director of operations at subway in conroe texas likes tell everyone your problems, and anne hoffman the (OWNER) does not have anything to do with subway
but buy fast cars and build new addtions on her her house, she makes the director of operations do everything, and she is hateful as well, if your a customer do not go to the subways in Conroe Texas, or Mongomery texas, there owned by anne hoffman, they are poor ass people and I hate subway after that. my wife was a manager, and i was just a employee, ive been with subway for six years, the one in colorado for four, and anne hoffman stores in texas for two, and I’ll never visit her stores again as long as I live, I swear on god, if your a customer wanting to eat subway do not eat at the ones in conroe texas, or montgomery, thanks for your time.

Do not use the one on High Ridge Rd in Stamford, CT; rude and arrogant as hell!!

All I have to say about the “subway” diet is, anyone who weighs like 400 pounds would lose weight on any diet at all! So it wouldn’t work for an average overweight person. I honestly think they used his weight loss story for publisity, cuz thier business was going downhill or some stupid shit like that. Doesn’t anyone agree?

I used to love subway in college. then they started f**king up the menu. First no more asiago sauce, then almost all the good sauces got taken away. Then they cut back on their menu, no more chicken caesar sandwiches, no more feta cheese. Then they get rid of the stamps..one of the few sticking points i had for going in the first place, then they cut mt. dew from their carried beverages. Finally today, to boot, i found out their only half way decent sandwich, the seafood crab, is in low supply or no supply. Talk about crap.

Even when stamps were still good, i had dimwit employees refues to take em..and yes they were legit.

Please people do yourselves a favor and open your phone books, u will find over a dozen great sandwich shops that give u way more for your buck. I personally love big town hero..in comparison their smallest sub is bigger than a footlong at subway and cost less. And extra toppings are free, like avacado, etc.

Lets do the world a favor and boycott subway till it dies.

Someone told me that Jared had Gastro-intestional bypass surgery to lose weight. The subway thing was just to make money for him and subway!

Subway does suck. I work at one and we dont ever barely get customers to come in anymore and they keep raising the prices and cutting down the content on the subs no wonder no one can afford it anymore.

I hate working at Subway. I’ve only been working for two weeks, and I don’t know about the other Subways out there, but my manager flip flops me back and forth between the gas station Subway, and the one down the road, and I hate both. The rest of the employees are ignorant high school dropouts, and the customers are so freakin rude. I had a woman cause a scene today because I forgot she wanted a six inch instead of a footlong. All I would have to do is cut the bread in half! She stormed out the door and didn’t come back.

Oh god, I also work at Subway, and I don’t see what people like about it. Our vegetables suck (the lettuce tends to freeze and frost in the bottom of the bain, so we are told to just mix it together with the other lettuce), are customers are rude, we are wwwaaayyyyy overpriced (6 bucks for the new chickan parmesan ft long, yet it only cost 2.45 to make), the new toasters we got burn the toast and undercook the meat, and it just plain out sucks.

I want to get a new job so bad, I have an interview at Blockbuster this weekend, and I hope I get the job.

I was at a Subway in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and I found the people so unprofessional. When I was driving around 12:45 at night I was lookign for a place to eat. I saw a Subway with its sign well lit that OPEN. As soon as I pulled up the young girl ran over to turn off the open sign and lock the doors. She was obviously more concerned about going home than she was with keeping a customer happy. I have sent a complaint e-mail to their head office twice and still have recieved no response. For now I will stick with Mr. Sub, Tim Horton’s and McDonald’s for my subs. If Subway ever responds, I may consider going back.

I had filed several anonymous and public complaints on these evil dirt bags that speak poorly of consumers and the female staff as well as few male staff steal and blame consumers. If you dont eat there as the local Pigeon Forge police do they make silly faces at you in town and call you “stupid.”

    A lawsuit is encouraged !!!
