I’m usually very quick in most things I do. Not necessarily brilliant, just fast. Whether it’s learning a new task, completing a familiar one, or just plain typing on the keyboard, I like to go fast. Unfortunately, that means I’m prone to making mistakes that much faster and more often. Sometimes, it turns out, fast is slow. See, I’ve know the lyrics to Sweet ‘n’ Sour by Caroline’s Spine (one of the all time best bands) for some five or six years now probably. But that doesn’t mean I was really paying attention to them. This morning as I made breakfast, the song was playing in that soundtrack in my skull and it hit me in, as my 9th grade English teacher would call it, a ‘v-8′ moment.
Wait a minute, the chorus is talking about…
And it even rhymes! And is slang! How could I have not noticed that?
*whoosh over my head*

TheMole: The relevant lyrics are:
chorus:
sweet n sour bushes? strike my sweet n
sour bushes. strike
And it looks like the slang is the same in the UK as the states:

The rhyme comes from the fact that he slures bushes so it sounds almost like another word similar to the slang definition.
