Have you ever wondered if what you were doing at any given moment was absolutely unique? That nobody else in your set of circumstances existed on Earth at that precise second doing exactly what you were doing. I’ve often thought that when driving and listening to some obscure Chinese dance track, but in all reality there is a large enough Chinese population in the United States that someone else was probably driving and listening to that same song at that same moment.

This morning, however, I think I may have been the only person in China listening to the San Diego v. Houston game, rooting for San Diego so that the Cardinals could move into uncontested first place in the NL Central.

What about you? Do you have any “unique moments” to share?

I think I’m the only person who reads WS at any time now.

    Just kidding!

    It’s true.

    I agree.

I think that depends on what defines a moment as unique. In one sense, every moment is unique, because we all have different points of reference, but in a very different sense you could argue that no moment is unique, no?
I’d like to think that my unique moments are moments I spend with Joy.
