I’ve lived in Florida my entire life. My family actually moved north to Orlando. One would think that my blood would be thin and that just about any heat would be tolerable. Apparently that is not the case.
Seriously, it’s hotter than the devil’s balls here in Hangzhou. It was around 37°C today, with about 70% humidity. I have seriously never been so hot in my life. Greg and I walked maybe five hundred meters to the Foreign Language Department’s offices and were drenched in sweat when we arrived. It’s 8:30 here and it’s still 32°. I am so damn happy that we’re approaching Fall… I don’t know if I could have, after living through months of Florida summer, withstood months of this kind of heat.
And you plan on staying through next summer?

Muad’dib, once he arrived at Arrakis, never left again. John’s never leaving China. Hey, are your eyes blue-within-blue yet?

Dave, I actually went back and read most of book 2 last night. You’re gonna get me hooked again. I read the last two recently and reaffirmed how much I like them. I wanted more Miles Teg, but oh well. I actually think that 2 is one of my least favorite.

Seriously, I’ve always loved the metric system. I’m just stoked that I now have the chance to use it.
