If a woman went to get her hair cut at a salon and two (straight) male hairdressers, one of whom was styling her hair, began to discuss how one of them had sore muscles in his legs, and the other commented in a sly voice, “well, we know how why that is, don’t we?” and then the two proceeded to have an extremely thinly veiled discussion about the sexual behaviors or lack there of and its direct correlation on muscle soreness, I would assume the woman would be fairly offended and appalled.

So when I go to get my hair cut and Jose and his pal at the chair next to us have the same discussion about their gay sexual habits, I don’t think it’s at all inappropriate for me to be more than a little offended and appalled. Someone I know commented that this tendancy might be because the homosexual lifestyle is being so aggressively pushed as acceptible and normal by activists and gay rights groups that there is a tendancy to over-legitimize it to the point where people feel the need to be completely ‘out there’ (pun intended) to a ridiculous level.

I suppose I did get a good haircut though.

That’s why you should always _always_ go to barbershops and not salons, so that you can get your hair cut by barbers and not stylists. Lemme tell you, I’ve never faced that problem at Venci’s.

That’s because you can’t understand a freaking word the fat man says. I mean Frank, he’s my “hombre” and all, but still some of them you just gotta point to.

Salons are for women…go to a barbershop. There is just something about them that I love going to.

I would beg to differ about the “good haircut” part….

My mom told me to never let a man do my hair. This exchange may be exactly why… both the imaginary and the actual conversation…

It seems to me that Jaime has always been a little rough on Jordan’s choice of haircut.

    Quick proposal –
You might want to consider letting Jaime cut your hair. She’d get the haircut she wants (presumably,) you wouldn’t have to deal with listening to inappropriate talk about sex acts (well, if you did you probably wouldn’t mind so much,) and you could use the money you save on flowers, gifts, or something… maybe send Jaime to the salon instead if she’s into that too.
This only really works if Jaime is up for cutting your hair though.
