As you may or may not have noticed, there is a new layout up here. The previous one was only meant to be a temporary one, so that we could start writing before we found something better. We did find something better, then we made it and now it’s here. There are tweaks to be made, I’m sure, and quite a bit of functionality that I’d like to get done before the end of the summer, but this layout is the one you’re going to be seeing for the foreseeable future.

Why? Because I’m off the redesign pipe for good. Part of this collaborative experience is to encourage Jordan to write more, and another part is to help me get some sort of stability in my online presence. I’m tired of changing all the time, and now that I’m accountable to more than myself, I’d like to just get something up and leave it alone. Small things may change, features may be added, but the basic layout (and permalinks and the like) are going to stay the same. It’s my little promise to you, the reader.
