I just came back from The Matrix Reloaded. It was a very good movie, better than Kottke indicated. He found fault in the computer-generated imagery, which isn’t entirely without base, but it ignores the fact that while the technology they used may have been “1.0 (or maybe even still in beta)” it was still damn good. It was also gutsy and audacious, and in my book audacity counts for a lot.
Oh yes, the story was pretty good to boot. Sometimes we get so caught up in the effects and imagery that we ignore the plot, which in this case was compelling and properly paced.
I don’t want to slip and spoil anything, so I’ll stop there, and instead talk about Monica Bellucci, who plays Merovingian’s wife Persephone. She is absolutely stunning, and in the scene where you are first introduced to her she captures your attention and does not let go. The fact that Neo makes out with her, as Trinity watches on, just adds to the fun and games. While I’d never heard of her, apparently she has had quite a career. I guess that’s not hard when you combine magnificent breasts and some real acting talent into a single package.
A rather trivial Google image search reveals quite a number of images of lovely Monica, many of which aren’t safe for work. I thought the one I chose for this entry was particularly nice.
I’ve got to learn not to right click and “Open in new window” every link I see when I am reading these posts. That Google image search was a little more than I was expecting at the moment… Definately popped up at a bad time.
Anyway, I saw Matrix: Reloaded bright and early this morning, and I noticed a little something about our friend Monica that I am sad to admit to noticing… it seemed like her cream latex suit was not as opaque as it could have been. Perhaps I am just seeing too far into the Matrix.

And yeah, I noticed that too. You don’t see it as much when they are in the dining room, but after they go into the bathroom and particularly when they leave the bathrooom and enter the mountain villa, you can see a bit more than you bargained for.
But it’s not like you hadn’t seen quite a bit of nipple before that point in the movie.

hehehehe, you guys make me laugh. If you want to see her naked then just get out Brotherhood Of the Wolf. She is an awesome chick in that and she has a sex scene. the movie is awesome! some very cool fight sequences. After the first 10 minutes, i guarantee that you will be like WOW! and watch it to the very end. the action at the end is awesome and there is a mad twist.
