I came into work today before 7pm to take care of some work that can only be done during the smaller hours of the day and I noticed a few things:

  • At 7am, there are a lot more cars on the road than I’d suspect. Apparently people actually do get up that early regularly. Blew me away.
  • There was a cold snap this morning and it was a brisk 60 degress. I thought that was normal for that time of day until I turned the radio on and found out it was a fair bit cooler than the last few days. Learn something new…
  • I’m not too coherant at 7am. I spilled some rè chá (hot tea) on my desk.
  • The little air-quality meter running on my desk since I called ehs and complained about something in the air here at the office really does sound like an fish tank aerator. Welcome to our pond.

Do you mean that you came to work before 7 AM, not PM? And yes, there are a lot of people on the road at that hour… especially people that are having to commute any distance, or work in service jobs that need to be open to serve people like us that get to work at 8.

Erhm. Yeah. PM. Doh. Glad I already stated I wasn’t coherant in that post.
