1980 was apparently a good vintage as it brought two of your contributers here on wantingseed. First by only a few months, Jordan lived in a number of locations growing up. His father was initially an Industrial Engineer in Michigan before going to seminary in Indiana, followed up with pastoral positions in Ohio and Kansas, and finally the family moved to Florida in 1986 to start a church.

Jordan likes being in the boring majority, and had an appropriately uneventful white, middle-class upbringing, the only minor deviations from which included slightly more crazy than normal high school hijinks including, among other things, the most infamous car surfing episodes with John.

College at the University of Florida brought with it a number of pleasant suprises (most of all to Jordan): a Mathematics degree, a beautiful and wonderful wife, and a full-time dream job, basically doing what he loves doing anyway: monkeying around with computers and pretending to be a hacker.

Currently working full time while his wife finishes off her last two years of Pharmacy school (yup, that'll be Mr. and Dr. Wiens), Jordan's just beginning to understand the joys of home ownership with their recent purchase of a condo.
